Arsene Wenger has revealed Petr Cech will be out of Arsenal's Premier League clash against against Manchester City on Sunday at the Emirates due to injury.
Cech was subbed off in Arsenal's 3-1 away defeat to West Brom before the international break and has not recovered in time for this weekend's tie.
Wenger also revealed that Santi Cazorla wouldn't be playing anymore this season while Lucas Perez is out of the City game.
"We have lost Petr Cech," Wenger said during his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
"Apart from that Cazorla, Perez. For Cazorla I think the season is over for him. That should basically be it."
Wenger hinted that Mesut Ozil could return after missing a couple of Arsenal's games, and Alexis Sanchez who hobbled off in the defeat to West Brom has a fighting chance against City.
"He (Ozil) is in contention to start again. He played 20 minutes against Azerbaijan. He has worked very hard this week.
"We got a message from him (Sanchez). It was a kick (on international break). We didn’t know if the ligament was touched or not. Bone bruising. He could normally play."
Wenger dismissed talks making the rounds that Sanchez could join Chelsea in the summer.
And commenting on the Chilean and Ozil's contract situation at Arsenal, Wenger says nothing has been aggreed yet.
"In a positive way, there’s only one team in London, so he’s (Sanchez) happy. I have not a lot to add. I think he’s happy here.
"We have not extended his contract, I hope he will stay at the club. You have to be cautious when they give interviews in their home country. The interpretation is not always correct.
"It happened before when we had to sell our best players. But that’s not the case any more. He has one and half years contract. I don’t think it is an immediate concern for Arsenal.
"Once you go into the final two or three months of the season, everybody is focused on the season. You give yourself a moment to relax. I personally believe both of them want to stay. I hope the club will find an agreement with them."
Wenger predicted that Arsenal Vs Manchester City will be an explosive game between two attacking teams.
"It promises to be an attacking game. They go for it, we go for it. It should be a promising game."
And on his future and Arsenal's chances of finishing the season on a high, Wenger said: "Not today. But I am very clear in my mind. Do I stay two more years? My commitment will be the same. It does not influence my attitude. I’ve always been clear in my mind. It’s a subject that is not sorted completely.
"I believe the priority in life is to focus on what is important. Not to look for excuses. The results aren’t going as we want. The priority is on the pitch. The big professional is to perform on the football pitch."
"We have two games in hand. The games are coming thick and fast, our season will be decided by the next two months. The ability and the strength we can show together to fight and come back in a convincing way. We had a deficit against West Brom. Our future will be decided by our mental qualities."
