B’MOUTH 0-4 LIVERPOOL
Liverpool strolled to a comprehensive victory on the south coast. The three points moves Liverpool back into the top four, while Bournemouth’s 10th defeat of the season leaves them still just one point above the relegation zone.
Liverpool were irresistible at times, with Mo Salah grabbing his 20th goal of the season in all competitions.
Liverpool forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain tells Sky Sports after the match that “I think we competed from the start, we had to be at 100% and switched on in defence, and going forward we have the ability to open doors and score goals
“The front four have been on fire, they are not bad. Everyone’s a quality player and the rest of us have to sneak our noses in there. Squad rotation is important, keeps us fresh.
“I am trying my best, I think I have made strides and I keep improving. I am trying to do everything the manager wants, I thought I did OK today. We know Philippe Coutinho can come up with magic, and the boys at the back did well as well.
“Phil’s been the most professional player all season, he always gives his all, and that’s all we can ask of him.”
Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho tells Sky Sports: “It was a nice goal but most important thing is we are getting better and we won the game. We deserved it.
“Everyone enjoys to play, the manager sometimes changes it but everyone gives their best and that’s good for Liverpool.”
