A young boy identified as Zubairu has landed in a hospital after he was allegedly wounded by his teacher, Sirajo in an Islamic school in Gombe state. According to reports, the boy was brutally flogged on both hands – which got him seriously injured in the process. The boy’s hand which was badly infected had to be amputated by doctors.

According to reports, Zubairu was beaten with cane and brutalized with a knife for committing an undisclosed offense. His hands had to be amputated at the Federal Medical Centre, Gombe, after the resulting wounds worsened
