[GAPOSA NEWS]:NAPS COMMEND DR ISAIAH OYEYINKA, RECTOR OF GATEWAY POLYTECHNIC, SAPAADE

The Umbrella Body for Polytechnic Students in Nigeria, NAPS, had yesterday commended the rector of Gateway Polytechnic, Sapaade for his display of humanitarian service as he ships in ambulance cars and clinic equipments to upgrade the medical level of the institution.

This came barely after three weeks in which the school lost one of her promising, vibrant and articulate student, Seun Akinyemi.

The Vice President External Affairs of NAPS, Comrade Olasunkanmi Ijaduoye while speaking at a public function showered encomium on Dr Oyeyinka for his immediate rise to the call of students in the citadel of learning. He emphasized that this huge step taken by the Rector would curb the incessant illness incidence which usually prevents most students from attending lectures, improve the level of medical care and standardize the school's clinic.

 Moreover, Comrade Ijaduoye Olasunkanmi reiterated that health is wealth; whosoever is healthy is abundantly wealthy. He said ' It is my outmost joy to see this noble citadel of learning rapidly become what exactly it was designed to be. The Institution under the supervision of the amiable Rector, Dr Isaiah Oyeyinka has recorded numerous achievements in barely all sectors of the school. Ranging from the security of students in the school to provision of basic amenities and other unspeakable projects and development going on there; it is indeed a great achievement and I urge other Rectors to tow this very gainful path".


He said there is need for Heads of Institution to always be able to provide the basic and needed amenities which can positively affect the students physically, mentally and academically.
