
Alakenne-elect prays for Ikenne township....The newly Alakenne-elect, Oba Oluwayomi Ademola Odeneye-Adeyiga (ilufemiloye1) joined millions of muslims today at Ikenne Central Mosque prayed for peace, stability and development of Ikenne township. According to our correspondent, who was at the mosque reported that, the newly Alakenne-elect, Oba Odeneye-Adeyiga arrived the mosque with his entourages at exactly 1.00pm and they were embraced by both the jamats and the muslim clerics. During the jamat service, he prayed for peace, stability and development of the Ikenne-remo. "Ikenne-ereke, ibi owo gbe nso is my JerusaIeum, there must be peace and development in it, so, I must pray for my town and the people in it", he said. While interviewed one of the jam'ats, it was cleared to us that, he is the first monarch that will come for such purpose without any invitation from the religious body.
